Introducing your hosts:  Sam and Steve Wakerley, former city professionals turned passionate advocates of country living. Their journey began with a shared love for rural life, a dream that beckoned them for years.

Transitioning from urban careers to the farming lifestyle, Sam and Steve found their calling at Narraburra Farm.

 

With Kooroongarra firmly in their sights, they're dedicated to putting their community on the map. Since taking the reins at Narraburra, the Wakerleys have introduced numerous enhancements to the farm. From welcoming a diverse array of animals to cultivating their own fruits, vegetables, and honey, their commitment to sustainability shines through. They've even taken on the ownership and stewardship of the local church and the leasing of the community tennis courts, and ensuring that their farm is accessible to all.
